I am a Dublin-born, concept-led multidisciplinary artist who has been based on the west coast of Ireland for the past decade.
My practice explores authentic rural themes such as freedom, agriculture, environmentalism, and community, examining how these forces shape both landscape and identity.
Working across painting, textiles, photography, installation, and socially engaged practice I frequently incorporate materials and processes drawn from agricultural contexts—such as sheep marking spray, dyes, graphite, and wool to reveal unexpected parallels between rural labour and contemporary artistic mark-making.
Through the project, Where Do We All Belong? I explore themes of belonging within the rural landscape hoping to inspire meaningful connections and promote social inclusion. Approaching the countryside with an outsider’s eye, I recognise the small gestures of rural life as marks of an unrealised, living artwork.
I am also founder and curator of Glovebox, an occasional art gallery and online art store.
I also curates ‘Radical Ruralism’ an online collection of contemporary art with a rural regard.
He is co-founder of design studio me&him&you where he has worked on art and design projects for organisations including SFMOMA, Fringe Festival, Jameson, Facebook, Metropolis Festival, The Design and Crafts Council of Ireland and The Science Gallery.
Some artworks currently available at Unruly Gallery, Amsterdam, Glovebox, Dublin and Affenfaust Galerie in Hamburg, Germany
He is available for commercial and artistic projects.
